About Osceola County
Osceola County is centralized within the State of Florida with Interstate 4 traversing the northwest portion of the County and providing direct access to the neighboring Orange County/Orlando market. As of the 2010 Census, Osceola County had a population of 268,685 people. Osceola is bordered by Orange County to the North and Polk County to the west. Brevard and Indian River Counties border Osceola along its eastern boundary and Okeechobee County borders Osceola at its southern boundary. The county is known for tourism related to Disney and other area attractions. The City of Kissimmee is the most populous City within Osceola County, and it is also the county seat which includes the county courthouse.
